Hooked on Southern Apples!

Apples!
Apples!

Okay, not just Southern apples, any apples. I love when September comes around and we start getting that fall feeling.

I love the taste of apples and the smell of apples as in Aromatique’s cinnamon cider candles:

How about the smell of Apple Crisp?:

Apples are such a perfect choice for the start of autumn season! I had my first appletini recently and was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Ummmm…. apples. As soon as I’m done dealing with my box of tomatoes, I will begin on apples… and a crisp is definitely in our future!

Apple crisp is one of the best things about fall. The cooler weather made me want oatmeal cookies so I baked a batch and have eaten lots! But I’m also mailing some to my son in San Diego. When I told him we were having a cool rainy day he was jealous! I guess you can even get tired of perfect weather! He is missing fall!

There used to be (maybe it’s still there) and apple market in Winter Haven, FL. They made their own cider, and it was soooooo good! I love the smell of apples, whether baked, in candles, or fresh cut.

    Happy FF…

    XO,

    Sheila 🙂
