Ah, the spring colors just make me happy!

Today’s Lagniappe:  Garlic Snow Peas
My favorite way to eat snow peas is actually raw – so crisp and delicious. The French name for snow peas is mange-tout which means “eat the lot” – sounds good to me. You can also stir fry them with garlic for a yummy treat.

* 2 cups fresh snow peas (washed, dried, and trimmed)
* 1-2 tablespoon sesame oil
* 3 minced garlic cloves
* salt & pepper

Heat wok  or large skillet on medium-hi heat .

Heat oil until it is hot, but not smoking, the add the  peas.

Cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly the add garlic and seasoning.

Quick fry just till bright green and still crisp.

Remove and serve while still hot.
