So, it is officially Autumn! Here are some pictures I have taken during Autumns of the past. It is still too early for fall color here, but, I love the beautiful colors when they get here.

Today’s Lagniappe: Snickers “Salad”
This sounds delicious. Let me know what you think!
Ingredients
- 1 package vanilla instant pie filling – small box
- -1 cup milk
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 3 snicker candy bars
- 16 ounces non-dairy whipped cream
In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla instant pudding mix with the milk. Whisk until the pudding is set, approximately 3 minutes. Cube the Granny Smith apple. Cut the snickers into bite sized pieces. Fold the non dairy whipped topping into the pudding mixture until combined. Fold in the snickers and apples. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Wow! I wish we had some fall color here in TX. We just had a cool front blow in last night that dropped the temps from 96 to 62. If we can keep some of this cooler weather around perhaps we’ll see some changes in the trees. Of course it will never be as glorious as your fall color. Thanks for sharing. ~ Sarah

What gorgeous fall photos. I miss fall in the eastern US. Out forests in Oregon are beautiful but they are mostly conifers and we don’t get a lot of fall color. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

I am amazed at how color ful where you live has happened.
Here (utah) we are pretty much still green with “highlights” of color now and then.
If you get a chance please stop by and say hi!

I was listening to a Martha Stewart program on Sirius this morning when they were talking about fall foliage. It made me think of our beautiful autumns in Arkansas. I just know that they rival any anywhere. Thanks for showcasing some of our beauty. Have you been to the new lodge at Mt. Magazine in the fall yet? Oh, my goodness. I would love for you to join me for Crock Pot Wednesday at diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com. Also, I am thinking about organizing an Arkansas Bloggers group. Would you be interested?

With all these gorgeous photos, I am yearning for a day in the leaves…

Oh, such beautiful photos! The people who live without the colorful, changing leaves don’t know what they’re missing in their lives!
I’ve GOT to try the Snickers Salad – it must be healthy, after all, salads are good for you, right? LOL!
