The beautiful tulips at City Park reminded me of a table that my mother set using her “tulip dishes.” They are actually called Blue Rhapsody and they are by Mikasa.
She has a beautiful tablecloth that I found for her at a tag sale (really). The blue tulips that ring the plates are so pretty and they match the blue tulips embroidered on the tablecloth.
This pitcher was painted by my great aunt, Ethel Cantrell.
As beautiful as the china and place settings are, it is impossible to outdo God’s creation. Check out these tulips from the park in New Orleans.
It was a gorgeous day . . .
There were many people enjoying the beauty . . .
A sea of color . . .
Even the ducks were enjoying it . . .
Dazzling!
Set against the water and the winding path – beautiful!
It is so nice to have beauty that surrounds us and that we can then share in our homes. Happy day!
I’m joining Tablescape Thursdays @ Between Naps on the Porch.
