Yes, I know there are a lot of weeds there, but, I am really happy with the progress. I work on the weeds as I can. Remember, I planted these from seed this year and then got a late start because of the cool weather (would love to see that now!). It is a miracle every day to go out and see how much everything has grown! Very happy with the progress!

Today’s Lagniappe:  Butter Pecan Crunch
Going with the no-bake stuff today!

* 1/3 cup butter, melted
* 2 (3 ounce) packages vanilla instant pudding mix
* 2 cups milk
* 1 quart butter pecan ice cream, softened slightly
* 8 ounces Cool Whip
* 2 Heath candy bars, crushed

Directions

1.  Mix crumbs and butter; press into bottom of 9×13 pan.
2. Chill.
3. Beat pudding mixes and milk until well blended.
4. Fold in ice-cream and Cool Whip.
5.  Spoon over crust.
6.  Sprinkle with crushed Heath bars.
7.  Freeze.
8.  Thaw about 20 minutes before cutting.

    I so want a garden but nothing grows well here in the sand of Fl. It just doesn’t taste the same as when things are grown in dirt.

    Your garden is really coming along. My dad just planted a garden for the first time and this past weekend, he brought us a laundry basket full of veggies. I am amazed at the bounty! I wish you the same 🙂

    Gardens ROCK! I have one and it was so amazing to see it go from seeds to huge plants that are probably going to take over my whole yard. I’ve got watermelons and cantaloupes out the waa-zoo!

    Oh, I am so jealous! I wanted to plant a garden this year, but just had so many other projects that I couldn’t fit it in. I miss my homegrown tomatoes and green beans. There’s nothing like them!
    You garden looks deliciously beautiful!
